📢 Version 3.3.28 – User Experience Improvements & Fixes
Version 3.3.28 brings a range of improvements. Here’s a quick overview of what’s fixed and what’s improved.
What’s New in Version 3.3.28?
The new version includes enhancements & fixes and is available for the following apps:
- SharePoint|sapiens Employee Training Management App – SPFx/Microsoft 365 App
- SharePoint|sapiens Event Management App – SPFx/Microsoft 365 App
- Modern User Interface – SPFX App
🛠️ Fixes available for all apps
- Validation of Required Number Columns
Previously, entering a space in a required number column was incorrectly validated as a valid input. This has been corrected. - Date Box Display on German Sites
On German-language sites, the date box in the banner showed “Invalid Date” for recurring events. This issue has been fixed. - Time Zone Accuracy in View Tracking
Sent and received times in view tracking now correctly reflect the site’s configured time zone. - User and Group Column – Single Select Support
Fixed an issue where only users could be selected if a column was configured as a single-select user or group column. Now, both SharePoint and Entra security groups can be selected. - New: Resend Cancellation Command
If an enrollment is cancelled but the cancellation email fails to send, the status remains “Cancelled” and the invite shows as “Error.” A new command is now available to resend the cancellation email for such enrollments. - Improved: Recurrence Field Behavior
Switching between recurrence types (Daily, Monthly, Yearly) previously reset the start time due to default values referencing the current date. This behavior has been improved to respect the configured start date.
🛠️ For Employee Training Management App
- Consent Message Length in “Complete Course” Button Web Part
Previously, it was possible to configure consent messages longer than 255 characters, which caused issues during course completion. This has been fixed by enforcing the character limit to match the column constraint in the Achievement list. - Quiz Dialog – MS Forms Login Requirement
The quiz dialog sometimes failed to display the MS Forms quiz if the user wasn’t signed in to https://forms.cloud.microsoft. This issue has been resolved. Additionally, a new option allows users to open the quiz in a separate tab if it cannot be rendered in the dialog. - Improved: Restarting Self-Paced Training
Users who have already completed a self-paced training can now revisit the course content in read-only mode without restarting the course. Completion is disabled in this mode.
